Volunteer Program in Costa Rica

COINED Volunteer Program in Costa Rica pursues the goal of contributing both to developing the social, cultural and environmental reality of Costa Rica and enhancing the intercultural experience of youngsters from all over the world.

Being a volunteer in Costa Rica will give you the unique possibility of tasting Costa Rica from a different perspective: not just as a tourist, but as an insider. You will have the chance of grasping Costa Rica’s social and cultural reality and understanding the structure and work done by local NGOs in a developing country. Costa Rica counts with a number of non-profit organizations committed to human development, employment opportunities, education programmes, healthcare, social work and environment related projects, all of which form a large network of people who offer their time and expertise to help other for no compensation whatsoever, except the inner satisfaction of alleviating the harsh reality of those in need.

Apart from participating in the project of your choice, as a volunteer, you will also be able to develop your natural skills, put into practice your knowledge, learn or improve your knowledge of Spanish and visit a country from its very heart. Volunteer Program in Costa Rica is your opportunity to combine your passion for travelling with your social compromise towards others.
